Gear Oil leakage from the final drive is a common issue in loaders, and it is often caused by loose screws or aging gaskets. You can follow these steps to resolve the problem:
1. Tighten the Screws:
There are six screws, as shown in the image. Using a 16mm wrench or socket, tighten each screw securely.
Clean the area around the gear oil thoroughly.
Observe the area for a few days to check if the leakage has stopped.
2. Replacing the Gasket (If Needed):
If the leakage continues, you may need to replace the gasket glue.
Remove the six screws shown in the image, and clean the old gasket glue from the surface.
Apply new gasket glue to the mating surface in a continuous circle.
Place the cover back on, secure the screws, and allow it to sit undisturbed for 24 hours.
These steps should help resolve the issue of final drive gear oil leakage in your HM16 loader. If problems persist or you are uncertain about the procedure, please contact our support team at support@handymax.com.au.
